Dreaming of Events

It’s probably safe to say that everyone misses gathering with others, and while this is not a reality at this time, that can’t stop us all from dreaming of the day that events are back on. So, what can you do until then? Prepare! And don’t worry, we can help.

One big positive aspect of this pandemic and the world being on halt is that you now have all the time in the world to prepare for your debut when life starts returning to normal. You can plan your next event to a tee. Just because you don’t have a set date for your first event does not mean that you shouldn’t start planning and getting inspired!

Everyone loves a Grand Opening. Grant Openings create energy and excitement around your business. While your business may not be new, why not throw a Grand Re-Opening to celebrate? Everyone could use something to look forward to and this just might do the trick!

Something that might be a really great idea would be to post on your social media asking your followers what they would like to see at your next event. This way you can take inspiration from your supporters, and implement things that they had suggested. You can make this interactive by asking them to comment on your post any suggestions they have, or if you’re utilizing the story format, you can create a poll or make a suggestion box. However you decide to go about this, your clients and supporters will feel heard because you are involving them and taking into account their preferences and wishes for your first event.

You do have to understand and be prepared for the idea that your event may look a little different than any of your previous events. Once it is safe for you to actually put your event into place, there will still probably be many precautions you should take into consideration - limited capacity, required masks, social distancing, etc. This is a small price to pay to be able to gather with some of your amazing clients while prioritizing their health and safety.

None of us really know when life will fully return to “normal” which means that there’s no real telling when exactly you will be able to safely and responsibly host an event for your clients. This shouldn’t prevent you from promoting and planning your event – you don’t need an exact date for your promo’s yet, but posting will get people excited for what’s to come!

At the end of the day, the safety of you and your clients is of utmost importance, so ensuring that they are aware that you are taking this into consideration is vital. And like we said, while you might not have a date in mind, it’s never too early to start planning and getting inspiration, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any of your Event Marketing needs at https://www.theburnetteagency.com/events
