Hello! My name is Bianca York and I am a rising senior at Florida State University studying Marketing and Communications. I was born and raised in Atlanta, and it really is my favorite place to be. I love all of the amazing things that Atlanta has to offer including the creative people, the perfect balance of city and nature, and of course the amazing restaurants. When I was making my college decision, I knew I couldn’t part ways with the Atlanta sunshine, so naturally, I chose Florida as my home away from home.

I knew early on that I wanted to work with businesses on their marketing and PR strategies. I owe this all to the TV show Shark Tank. As a child, this was one of my favorite shows to watch because I loved seeing how each of the entrepreneurs would pitch their ideas. I was in awe at how these product pitches could make or break an entrepreneur’s idea. I was either inspired by their approach, or I thought that I could have created a better way to do it myself. Along with this, I have always enjoyed designing new things and staying up to date on all social media trends. I love following different brands and seeing how they create an image for themselves on social media platforms and how they transfer to the real world. I am looking forward to being a part of this process myself.

I am so excited to get to know the Burnette Agency team and to have the opportunity to work alongside each of them. Assisting clients in building their social media presence and telling their stories is something that I would like to put my mind to. Social media is now more important than ever for businesses to connect with their consumers, and I can’t wait to help in elevating their digital strategies.
