Our Mission Statement | During COVID-19 and Beyond 

The Burnette Agency mission statement is to execute effective strategies and positive change for clients entrusting their business to our team. And, to work hard and create meaningful relationships with all we work with.  

Our mission rings true now more than ever as the uncertainty of COVID-19 affects us all. Man, how times have changed. 

I remember sitting in the conference room in our Atlanta office with our team, as we discussed our mission. The Burnette Agency, founded in 2016 has seen a lot of change. And though we focused heavily on making clients happy, this team at this time felt perfect to really be thoughtful about putting pen to paper to solidify our mission statement.   

We were excited and the team had such brilliant ideas. We settled on making sure effective strategies and positive change were at the heart of our mission statement. Clients are truly trusting us to come up with ideas and create strategies that will not only show people who they are as a brand but invoke emotion by potential consumers to follow through on the call to action. 

With COVID-19, we looked back at our mission statement and asked ourselves what will change, or, what should change.  The answer, though, is nothing. Yes, the strategies will be different and our efforts won’t look exactly the same. But, at its core, executing effective strategies and promoting positive change is exactly what we are doing. And most of all, we are doing it with clients, who trust us.

Tips: 

  1. Take a look at your mission statement and make sure that even during a crisis, you are focused on what is more important. 

  2. Empathize with your consumers and make sure your messaging, reflects that. 

  3. Ask your marketing team (or partners) for ideas on how to better connect with your audience. 

  4. Outline ways to push out your business, during these unprecedented times. For example: 

    1. Healthcare: Offer Telehealth Appointments 

    2. Boutiques: Create virtual shopping experiences 

    3. Small Goods: Incentive your products
