The world is more visual that is has ever been, so it is no surprise video use on social media has steadily grown over the years. What makes it so attractive is the fact that it easily grabs attention, allows for engagement, and delivers messages in a timely manner.

And now, it is easier than ever to market your brand with it.  Marketing products using video creates an increase of brand awareness, and allows for the business to create a larger presence online. But, many people don’t know how to create a video that will do that. Learn how your business can take its content to the next level with three easy tips!

 

1. Turn Heads

Video is a great way to make your business’ content stand out on social media, but it takes more than a play and pause button to stop those thumbs from scrolling. Keep your users engaged using quality video production, bright colors, and catchy verbiage. When creating your video, it is important to stay consistent if your brand using the same fonts, colors, and tone to increase brand association.

 

2. Cut Out The Middleman

Every social network has a method of uploading videos now. So why make your audience go to Youtube to see your content? Don’t! It’s time to cut Youtube links from your business’ posts, and directly upload it. If your content is readily available to view, users are more likely to watch it. If your business is on YouTube and would like to direct traffic to your page, then we suggest mentioning and embedding a link in the post caption or your profile bio.


 

3.   Keep It Short and Sweet

As mentioned before, videos grabs audience attention easily, but not for long! Studies have shown that tweets with videos in them are responded to six time more than text-only tweets! But, the average social media post receives ten seconds of attention before a user scrolls to the next one, so it is important to keep videos as short as possible in order to maximize the amount of people who watch it until the end, especially if there is a call to action involved.
