3 Simple Ways to Improve Your Website

A website is a vital part of any business, and a well designed website has become essential in now-saturated business markets. In most cases it is best to hire a professional to assist you with your web design to showcase your brand in the best way possible, but there are a few easy tricks to implement yourself if you are in a time or monetary crunch!

1. De-clutter

Just like with any type of design, less is always more! You may want to pack as much information as possible onto your website, by too much information can clutter the page and make it too busy for the viewer to follow. Try to make any main pages display information in a title or bullet based format, which can be linked to another page to provide greater detail if needed. That way, your website contains all the information you want it to, but it is easy for the viewer to find exactly what they are looking for.

2. Change your typeface

A new typeface can do wonders for your web design! It is a simple and easy way to elevate your look. Make sure the typeface you choose is easily readable, clean, and matches the style of your site. Try to use a simple serif or sans serif typeface for the majority of your content, and use only script or display type fonts for design accents.

3. Add more imagery

One of the easiest and best design elements you can implement on your website is imagery. Try to add as much high quality photography as possible that relates to your product or service, so a viewer can easily see what you are offering! Oftentimes website visitors do not want to spend a lot of time reading about what you have to offer, so show them visually! Not only is it a quick way to convey your brand, but great photography can make your website look beautiful!
