Most marketers are wary of investing in TikTok advertisements simply because the newness of this app hasn’t fully diminished, we are here to put you at ease and inform of the current ad offerings TikTok provides. Biddable Ads

Fully self-serve ads are not yet available on TikTok in the way they are on other major social media platforms. So far, the only ad unit you can use on this platform, that being the in-feed ad. With these in-feed video ads, there are three action models:

  • CPC (cost per click)

  • CPM (cost per thousand)

  • CPV (cost per view for every 6 seconds).

The plus side to the newness of advertising on this social platform is that there is no minimum spend requirement. More self-service options are in the works, but TikTok currently doesn't have solid release dates announced.

This form of advertising utilizes user-generated content, by asking users to participate in this challenge. Challenges are very popular among the TikTok platform, typically a dance that goes viral and it recreated among the other users.

Branded lenses are something you have probably seen when on your personal Instagram pages and even on Snapchat. This type of advertising utilizes the AR capabilities on social media platforms. The benefit of using this form of advertising on TikTok is to boost your brand's message by putting it right into the widely popular filters
